Just wrapped up another 12-hour session in Palworld, and I'm still buzzing from the adrenaline rush! The Home Sweet Home update (v0.7.0) that dropped on December 17, 2025, has completely transformed my endgame experience. The ULTRAKILL crossover is absolutely everything I hoped it would be—and trust me, I've been counting down the days since the announcement.

The Legendary Loot Worth Grinding For

Let me break down what makes this update so freaking amazing: four new legendary schematics that include two armor sets and two weapons straight out of ULTRAKILL. Have you seen how these items look in-game? Absolutely jaw-dropping!

The four legendary schematics are:

  • V1 Legendary Armor

  • V2 Legendary Armor

  • Legendary Marksman Revolver

  • Legendary Core Eject Shotgun

What makes these items unique is how you obtain them. Unlike traditional legendary schematics that drop from Alpha Bosses or exploration, these babies require special currencies: Dog Coins and Battle Tickets. It's a whole new grind, and I'm here for it! 😤

The Tech Tree Grind

Before you can even think about the legendary versions, you need to unlock the standard variants through the Technology tree:

  • V1 Armor and Marksman Revolver: Technology Level 32

  • V2 Armor and Core Eject Shotgun: Technology Level 56

I spent an entire weekend just grinding XP to reach these tech levels. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY. But remember, folks—unlocking the tech just lets you craft the basic versions. The legendary schematics? That's a whole different beast.

Finding Those Elusive Vendors

After three days of searching (and a few rage quits), I finally found both vendors needed for the legendary schematics.

The Medal Merchant sells the Legendary Armor schematics, and I found him chilling at the Desolate Church. Pro tip: This seems to be his favorite hangout spot, so check there first! I wasted hours scouring random locations before learning this.

The Arena Vendor is much easier to find—just head to the Arena Entrance on the far eastern edge of the map. But don't expect to walk away with those weapon schematics right away. You'll need Battle Tickets, and lots of them!

The Crafting Challenge

Once you've got those precious schematics, it's back to base to craft them. You'll need:

  • Advanced Weapon Assembly Line (for the weapons)

  • Production Assembly Line II (for the armor)

Let me tell you, the resource requirements are BRUTAL. I had to dedicate an entire Pal workforce just to gather materials for days. But when that crafting bar filled up and I equipped my first legendary piece? Pure. Gaming. Bliss.

Farming Dog Coins: The Mimog Hunt

Dog Coins quickly became my obsession. Have you ever spent six hours chasing what are essentially mimic chests across an entire game world? Well, I have, and I regret nothing!

Mimogs are these sneaky little chest-like Pals that scatter when you approach. They're annoying to catch, but each one drops precious Dog Coins. I developed a strategy: use a fast-moving mount and chase them into corners. Works like a charm!

Syndicate Thugs also drop Dog Coins occasionally, but Mimogs are the real gold mine. I also made it a habit to loot every scrap pile and treasure chest I came across. Every coin counts when you're saving up for those legendary armor schematics!

Battle Ticket Grinding: Arena Mastery

While Dog Coins had me exploring, Battle Tickets had me fighting. The Arena system is where you earn these babies, and let me tell you—it's both exhilarating and frustrating.

My first Master Rank clear netted me a sweet 100 Battle Tickets, but subsequent runs only gave 10-20. Is the grind real? Yes. Is it worth it? Also yes.

I developed a system: rather than repeatedly challenging Master Rank, I found it more efficient to speed-run lower difficulties. Ten quick Bronze runs can be faster than one grueling Master attempt, especially when you're just starting out.

My Final Verdict

After a solid month of grinding, I finally have the complete ULTRAKILL legendary set. The V2 Legendary Armor paired with the Core Eject Shotgun has completely changed my gameplay style. I'm taking down Alpha Pals that used to destroy me, and the special effects when firing the Legendary Marksman Revolver? Chef's kiss 👨‍🍳💋

Would I recommend this grind to everyone? Only if you're as obsessed with Palworld as I am. The time investment is substantial, but having gear that makes other players do a double-take when they join your server? Priceless.

Have you started your ULTRAKILL legendary collection yet? Which piece are you grinding for first? The armor gives better stats, but those weapons... they just hit different. Either way, I'll see you in the Arena or chasing Mimogs across the Palpagos Islands! 🎮✨
